1. Who we are
This website is operated by Gunatatwa Genetic Research & Diagnostic Centre ("Gunatatwa", "we", "us"). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this site.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to share with us through the Contact form:
- Your name and email address
- The reason for your enquiry
- Anything you write in your message — which may include family or health history you choose to share for counselling purposes
We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not collect any data automatically beyond what your browser sends to load the pages.
3. Why we collect it
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry — to schedule a counselling session, discuss a research collaboration, or answer a general question, depending on what you tell us. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
Your submission is processed by Netlify (our website and forms hosting provider) purely to deliver the enquiry to our team, and is otherwise seen only by the Gunatatwa staff who handle enquiries of that type.
5. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry submissions only for as long as needed to respond and, where a counselling relationship follows, for the duration of that engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time — see Section 7.
6. Your consent
We ask for your explicit consent before submitting the contact form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 7 — this won't affect any enquiry already resolved, but we will stop further processing and delete your data on request.
7. Your rights & how to reach us
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request erasure of your personal data, and to have your grievances redressed. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer:
Grievance Officer: Gunatatwa Genetic Research & Diagnostic Centre
Email: gunatatwaresearch@gmail.com
If you're not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
